    Summer Break

    We're taking a few days out to attend the wedding of a close family friend on the mainland, so therefore we will be closing the gallery from 1pm on Wednesday 3rd August, and we will be re-opening on Tuesday 9th August.
    We apologise for any inconvenience, but we are taking the time to have a little family break.

     

    Horizon exhibition

    Following the success of our Portrait exhibition, we'd like to invite you to join our end of Summer exhibition.

    The exhibition will be titled ‘The Horizon' and will be open to artists of all ages.

    The exhibition will be held from 29th September- 12th October 2022.

    The opening night will be held on 28th September.

    A few details:

    The idea is that all of the landscapes hang around the whole gallery, making one continuous Horizon line all the way around.

    Choose your medium!

    We leave the subject up to you, as long as there is a horizon.

    Artwork should be professionally framed with hangings fitted. Sula will be happy to advise on this, and will offer a 10% discount on anything being framed for the exhibition.

    Artworks should be available four purchase at the exhibition, with our standard 30% commission taken on sales.

    Artwork should be no bigger than 1 metre square and you can enter up to 4 pieces.

    As we are aiming for one continuous line around the gallery, we reserve the right to leave out any that we don't have room for, but we will of course refund any entry fees for artworks that are not included and may also keep them back as spares.
    As it will still be tourist season, we also reserve the right to allow visitors to take any purchased artworks with them. If this is the case we will allow that artist to bring a replacement.

    There will be a small charge of £2 per artwork entered, but you will have a chance to win this money back, as we are going to ask viewers of the exhibition to vote for their favourite piece. The artist with the most votes will win the pot of money at the end of the exhibition.

    We will send out reminders closer to the time, but artwork will need to be delivered to us, ready to hang,  on 23rd or 24th September, during normal open hours.
