Born in Guernsey. Pamela left the island with her parents in 1938; she was educated in the U.K. It was on returning to the island that her interest in art developed, she is married to Hirzel, now retired who was in local government, and they have a daughter Cathryn, son-in-law Paul and granddaughters Charlotte and Samantha.
Pamela’s love of nature inspired her to paint, the superb light in the Islands is most prominent in her work, which has been exhibited in many countries worldwide. For many years her studio was at the Le Gouffre and it was here that her work was quickly appreciated and sold with increasing success.
Now Pamela’s studio is at her home at King’s Mills, the delightful country garden features in many paintings that adorn the home.
Visitors from abroad regularly visit to collect her work; local collectors insure that some paintings remain in the Island.
