Gerry Ball is a painter whose skilful use of the watercolour medium has gained him a considerable reputation.
Born in Ashton Under Lyne in 1948 he began his artistic studies at Ashton Under Lyne School of Art.

He moved to North Wales in 1976 and began his career as a professional painter. In 1978 he was elected to the Royal Cambrian Academy and has work in many public and private collections.

His paintings capture the quiet charm of the countryside. The ability to watch and record accurately the many aspects of rural life will be appreciated by all who collect his work.
